On 8th of March, 2006 a group of 10-20 dolphins spent the day at the mouth of Dingle Harbour (nearer to Beenbawn than the lighthouse). Unknown whether this is the same group that was seen earlier in the week at Kinnard and Smerwick harbour, although, it seems likely. Also unable to tell whether same group seen back in October of last year (Click here for news article on Oct 2005 sightings).
I don't know what Fungie was doing at this point but if anyone does then please let us know.
Update: according to one of the dolphin boat men Fungie stayed within the harbour whilst group of dolphins where around.
