Photos showing the healing process on Dusty's lesions

On the 8th of October 2007 it was reported by IWDG on a news item that diver John Flynn had taken photos of severe erupted lesions on her tail stock. On the 12th of October Ute Margreff, who is a regular swimmer with Dusty, reported that it appeared as though the sores were beginning to heal and that Dusty showed no signs of favouring her tail stock. Ute also reported that she saw no difference in Dusty's behavour then compared to before the sores appeared.

Below we have a series of photos taken by Ute Margreff showing the rapid healing of the sores from October 2007 through February 2008. As of the 27th of February the scars from the sores looked completely healed and taking on the pigment of the skin around it.

Please note: the link to the IWDG news item above refers to Dusty as being quite aggresive. This has not been the experience of any of us at Irishdolphins.com but you are advised that Dusty is a wild animal in a wild environment and should be treated accordingly.
