Another day spent watching from the side - lines as once again the boats were out in force. It was only Nick and I who ventured down to the beach today, kit in hand. There were Fungie boats, two kayaker’s and a rib out on the water, so we had decided even before reaching the beach that we would sit it out and just observe. There didn’t seem to be too much going on even with the boats, so I think we made the right decision. Tomorrow is New Years Eve, so no matter how much traffic is out, there will be swimmers in the water. Its an annual tradition to have one last swim of the year and then on New Years day to enjoy the first swim of the year. There will be a group of us down, so we should have a laugh no matter what.
