Today 5th March the Celestial Dawn was lifted off the rocks and partially refloated. Salvors brought the damaged vessel round to Ventry harbour where she will be secured to a barge for the journey back to Belgium.
As far as we know, no further oil pollution was involved in the completion of the salvage operation. Luckily it seems that the Dingle dolphin has not been affected by this potentially disastrous incident.
